V po\u017ead\u00ed t\u0159et\u00ed LP \u201eElizium\u201c (1990) nen\u00ed jen album \u2013 je to ritu\u00e1l. Fields of the Nephilim zde dos\u00e1hli vrcholu sv\u00e9 temn\u00e9 estetiky, a to nejen hudebn\u011b, ale i duchovn\u011b. U\u017e samotn\u00fd n\u00e1zev, odvozen\u00fd od mytick\u00e9ho Elysia, nazna\u010duje, \u017ee se vyd\u00e1v\u00e1me na cestu do jin\u00fdch sf\u00e9r \u2013 mezi \u017eivotem a smrt\u00ed, snem a realitou.
\u00davodn\u00ed \u201eDead But Dreaming\u201c je jako otev\u0159en\u00ed br\u00e1ny \u2013 ambientn\u00ed vrstvy, znepokojiv\u00e9 kl\u00e1vesy a potemn\u011bl\u00e1 atmosf\u00e9ra v\u00e1s vt\u00e1hnou do sv\u011bta, kde Carl McCoy \u0161ept\u00e1 jako prorok z jin\u00e9ho sv\u011bta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Album se vyh\u00fdb\u00e1 klasick\u00e9mu st\u0159\u00edd\u00e1n\u00ed n\u00e1lad \u2013 m\u00edsto toho buduje jednu jedinou, hlubokou, medita\u010dn\u00ed atmosf\u00e9ru.
\u201eAnd There Will Your Heart Be Also\u201c je z\u00e1v\u011bre\u010dn\u00e1 modlitba \u2013 nepolapiteln\u00e1, kr\u00e1sn\u00e1, melancholick\u00e1. McCoy\u016fv hlas zde zn\u00ed jako ozv\u011bna z jin\u00e9ho sv\u011bta, zat\u00edmco hudba pomalu miz\u00ed do ticha.
Toto album se nesm\u00ed poslouchat na shuffle. Pot\u0159ebuje ticho, p\u0159\u00edtm\u00ed a soust\u0159ed\u011bn\u00ed. Je to hudba pro du\u0161i, kter\u00e1 hled\u00e1 \u00fato\u010di\u0161t\u011b \u2013 gotick\u00fd trip, kter\u00fd v\u00e1s obejme a nepust\u00ed.
