Prvn\u00ed generace Z4 (s k\u00f3dov\u00fdm ozna\u010den\u00edm E85; p\u00edsmeno \u201eZ\u201c mimochodem odkazuje na n\u011bmeck\u00e9 <em>Zukunft<\/em>, tedy budoucnost) sj\u00ed\u017ed\u011bla z linek v americk\u00e9m Spartanburgu v letech 2002 a\u017e 2008. Tamn\u00ed d\u011bln\u00edci, kte\u0159\u00ed dnes montuj\u00ed p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u011b ob\u0159\u00ed dvoutunov\u00e1 rodinn\u00e1 SUV, jich tehdy smontovali necel\u00fdch 198 tis\u00edc. Srdcem je atmosf\u00e9rick\u00fd \u0159adov\u00fd \u0161estiv\u00e1lec 2,5i s k\u00f3dov\u00fdm ozna\u010den\u00edm N52B25, sp\u00e1rovan\u00fd s klasick\u00fdm \u0161estistup\u0148ov\u00fdm manu\u00e1lem. Prvn\u00ed majitel \u2013 podle vizitky architekt miluj\u00edc\u00ed golf, jeho\u017e navigace znala zpam\u011bti snad ka\u017ed\u00fd green v okruhu tis\u00edce mil od n\u011bmeck\u00e9ho Wormsu \u2013 si na\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed m\u00edsto titanov\u00fdch hol\u00ed p\u0159iplatil za M podvozek (co\u017e znamen\u00e1 o 15 mm ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed sv\u011btlou v\u00fd\u0161ku, tu\u017e\u0161\u00ed pru\u017einy a siln\u011bj\u0161\u00ed stabiliz\u00e1tory), M kola a par\u00e1dn\u00ed M sportovn\u00ed seda\u010dky. Ud\u011blal zatracen\u011b dob\u0159e. Auto na\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed uniklo jak\u00e9mukoliv pochybn\u00e9mu tuningov\u00e9mu z\u00e1sahu, tak\u017ee se z n\u011bj nestala pou\u0165ov\u00e1 atrakce. V\u0161e je v p\u016fvodn\u00edm, pe\u010dliv\u011b udr\u017eovan\u00e9m stavu. Agreg\u00e1t N52 je unik\u00e1tn\u00ed sv\u00fdm kompozitn\u00edm blokem. Vnit\u0159n\u00ed vlo\u017eka v\u00e1lc\u016f a chladic\u00ed kan\u00e1lky jsou z hlin\u00edkov\u00e9 slitiny (Alusil), zat\u00edmco vn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed pl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 bloku tvo\u0159\u00ed extr\u00e9mn\u011b lehk\u00fd ho\u0159\u010d\u00edk. D\u00edky t\u00e9to alchymii samotn\u00fd motor v\u00e1\u017e\u00ed fascinuj\u00edc\u00edch 161 kg. Aby BMW u\u0161et\u0159ilo ka\u017ed\u00fd gram z\u00e1t\u011b\u017ee a sn\u00ed\u017eilo parazitn\u00ed ztr\u00e1ty, vybavilo motor pln\u011b elektrickou vodn\u00ed pumpou (ta sice ob\u010das kolem 150 tis\u00edc kilometr\u016f um\u00edr\u00e1 bez varov\u00e1n\u00ed, ale \u0161et\u0159\u00ed zhruba 1,2 kW v\u00fdkonu). Line\u00e1rn\u00ed gradace v\u00fdkonu a\u017e k 7000 ot\u00e1\u010dk\u00e1m za minutu m\u00e1 nezam\u011bniteln\u00e9 kouzlo. D\u00edky bleskov\u00e9 reakci na elektronick\u00fd plyn a absolutn\u00ed absenci turbo-lagu je z\u00e1\u017eitek z j\u00edzdy chirurgicky p\u0159esn\u00fd. Kr\u00e1tce poskl\u00e1dan\u00e1 \u0161estistup\u0148ov\u00e1 p\u0159evodovka je na zakroucen\u00e9 okresky jak d\u011blan\u00e1. Fyziku sice neo\u0161id\u00edte, kompromis je to ale v\u00edc ne\u017e slu\u0161n\u00fd \u2013 plynul\u00e1 defenzivn\u00ed j\u00edzda znamen\u00e1 spot\u0159ebu kolem 8 litr\u016f. Kdy\u017e za\u010dnete ho\u0159\u010d\u00edkov\u00fd blok \u017ed\u00edmat na maximum, jste na 10 a v\u00fd\u0161.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Posun do jin\u00e9 dimenze<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Roadster E85 pochopiteln\u011b nen\u00ed od p\u0159\u00edrody vylo\u017een\u00fd okruhov\u00fd speci\u00e1l, ob\u010dasn\u00fd trackday ale snese bez protest\u016f. M podvozek na kvalitn\u00edch lepiv\u00fdch pneu posouv\u00e1 limity mechanick\u00e9 trakce tak daleko, \u017ee za volantem pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b vym\u011bknete d\u0159\u00edv ne\u017e auto. Na rozd\u00edl od star\u0161\u00edch bavor\u00e1k\u016f a vrcholn\u00e9 verze Z4M m\u00e1 tahle b\u011b\u017en\u00e1 generace u\u017e elektrick\u00fd posilova\u010d \u0159\u00edzen\u00ed (EPS). Nen\u00ed to sice \u010dist\u00e1 telepatick\u00e1 hydraulika, ale na rychl\u00e9 p\u0159ekl\u00e1p\u011bn\u00ed v serpentin\u00e1ch bohat\u011b sta\u010d\u00ed. Nekone\u010dn\u00e1 p\u0159edn\u00ed kapota vypad\u00e1 majest\u00e1tn\u011b, a kdy\u017e ji otev\u0159ete, pochop\u00edte ten trik. \u0158adov\u00fd \u0161estiv\u00e1lec je doslova nacpan\u00fd hluboko za p\u0159edn\u00ed n\u00e1pravou (tzv. front-mid engine layout) kv\u016fli ide\u00e1ln\u00edmu rozlo\u017een\u00ed hmotnosti 50:50. D\u00edky tomu sed\u00edte prakticky p\u0159\u00edmo na zadn\u00ed n\u00e1prav\u011b, zadkem jen p\u00e1r centimetr\u016f nad asfaltem. Tenhle \u201eposun do jin\u00e9 dimenze\u201c znamen\u00e1, \u017ee rotaci auta v zat\u00e1\u010dce c\u00edt\u00edte doslova cel\u00fdm t\u011blem, jakoby se auto ot\u00e1\u010delo kolem va\u0161ich bok\u016f. Majitel\u00e9 t\u011b\u017ek\u00fdch p\u0159edokolek tenhle pocit neznaj\u00ed a nikdy nepoznaj\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u017divot s digit\u00e1ln\u00ed fosili\u00ed<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P\u0159\u00edplatkov\u00e9 M seda\u010dky v\u00e1s v zat\u00e1\u010dk\u00e1ch sev\u0159ou jak sv\u011br\u00e1k \u2013 tedy za p\u0159edpokladu, \u017ee va\u0161e BMI nevykazuje hodnoty roze\u017eran\u00e9ho medv\u011bda. Nastupov\u00e1n\u00ed p\u0159es \u0161irok\u00fd pr\u00e1h zkr\u00e1tka vy\u017eaduje zdrav\u00e1 z\u00e1da a nepat\u0159\u00ed mezi discipl\u00edny pro gau\u010dov\u00e9 povale\u010de. Sou\u017eit\u00ed se Z4 je ale jinak p\u0159ekvapiv\u011b civilizovan\u00e9. Topen\u00ed nab\u00edh\u00e1 bleskov\u011b a d\u00edky chytr\u00e9 aerodynamice nejsou turbulence v kabin\u011b nijak stra\u0161n\u00e9. Sta\u010d\u00ed si pustit v\u00fdh\u0159ev sedadel, nastavit v\u00fddechy ventilace a m\u016f\u017eete jezdit \u201enaho\u0159e bez\u201c i v deseti stupn\u00edch. Purist\u00e9 v\u00e1m samoz\u0159ejm\u011b \u0159eknou, \u017ee cokoli pod plnotu\u010dn\u00fd t\u0159\u00edlitr 3.0si (195 kW) je trapas. Jist\u011b, t\u0159\u00edlitr trh\u00e1 krky ochotn\u011bji, ale 130 kW na koch\u00e1n\u00ed a svi\u017en\u00e9 pr\u016fjezdy s otev\u0159enou st\u0159echou bez probl\u00e9mu sta\u010d\u00ed. Hlavn\u00ed bonus je toti\u017e akustick\u00fd. Mechanick\u00fd, kovov\u00fd \u0159ev to\u010div\u00e9ho \u0159adov\u00e9ho \u0161estiv\u00e1lce je dnes, v dob\u011b um\u011bl\u00fdch zvuk\u016f z reproduktor\u016f, doslova balz\u00e1m na du\u0161i. Chlad vyza\u0159uje hlavn\u011b z precizn\u011b opracovan\u00e9ho brou\u0161en\u00e9ho hlin\u00edku t\u00e1hnouc\u00edho se nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d palubn\u00ed deskou. Kvalita mont\u00e1\u017ee a sl\u00edcov\u00e1n\u00ed jsou p\u0159\u00edkladn\u00e9. Co m\u011b vylo\u017een\u011b irituje? Typick\u00e9 oran\u017eovo-\u010derven\u00e9 BMW podsv\u00edcen\u00ed bud\u00edk\u016f. Letit\u00fd m\u00fdtus tvrd\u00ed, \u017ee vlnov\u00e1 d\u00e9lka p\u0159esn\u011b 605 nanometr\u016f nenaru\u0161uje no\u010dn\u00ed vid\u011bn\u00ed a pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 se proto v letectv\u00ed (co\u017e je technicky korektn\u00ed a pravda), pohled na to je ale prost\u011b zlo. Hor\u0161\u00ed je snad u\u017e jen vypalova\u010dka o\u010d\u00ed v podob\u011b modr\u00e9 od VW. A pak ta prehistorick\u00e1 MK4 navigace. Jej\u00ed pixelov\u00e1 grafika a ovl\u00e1d\u00e1n\u00ed jsou zkr\u00e1tka da\u0148 za to, \u017ee sed\u00edte v digit\u00e1ln\u00ed fosilii z po\u010d\u00e1tku tis\u00edcilet\u00ed. Zvukov\u00fd syst\u00e9m s osmi reproduktory a zesilova\u010dem ale hraje na pom\u011bry roadsteru solidn\u011b. Odkl\u00e1dac\u00ed prostory v kabin\u011b prakticky neexistuj\u00ed, zavazadeln\u00edk o re\u00e1ln\u00e9m objemu 260 litr\u016f to ale spolehliv\u011b zachra\u0148uje.
